Washington- Before you can register to take the state exam, you must meet one of the following training and experience requirements:

– Twelve consecutive months (part of which is in the current or previous year) having worked as a full-time, salaried employee of an admitted insurance company or managing general agent (MGA) adjuster, OR

– Currently hold active AIC, AEI, or CPCU designation, OR

– Complete a state-approved adjuster trainee program that is six-to-nine months in length, totaling at least 960 hours (eight hours per day x five days per week x six months).
